Gamma Fleet Code of Conduct
The FSF has an official Code of Conduct. Gamma Fleet, as a proud member of the FSF, highly enforces all FSF Rules and Regulations including the FSF Code of Conduct and the FSF Charter. The below listed Gamma Fleet Code of Conduct Rules in no way substitute or over-ride those regulations listed in the Official FSF Code of Conduct but rather will be enforced in conjunction with them.
Conduct for Fleet Members
Gamma Fleet requires that all fleet members post/attend to the sim(s) they are assigned to on a weekly basis. Failure to post/attend on a weekly basis may result in removal from the assigned sim.
Members must request a Leave of Absence (LOA) from both hosts of the sim they are assigned to if they will be unable to post/attend their assigned sim for the week. If the request is for more than three (3) weeks, the member must request an extended Leave of Absence (ELOA).
All members have the right to speak to the Gamma Fleet Commanding Officer or Executive Officer at any time.
Any member may resign from the sim they are assigned to without prejudice or disciplinary action from Gamma Fleet Command or Gamma Fleet Staff.
Conduct for Simulation Hosts
Gamma Fleet requires two (2) hosts for all sims. This decision may be changed every six (6) months, but only with proper notification from the Gamma Fleet CO to the FSF Administration.
Hosts are allowed a maximum of two (2) hosting positions in Gamma Fleet. Should a host wish an additional hosting position within Gamma Fleet, approval by Gamma Fleet CO is required in advance.
All Gamma Fleet Hosts are required to post/attend to the sim they host on a weekly basis.
A Gamma Fleet host cannot grant a LOA (Leave of Absence) to another Gamma Fleet Host. All LOA's must go through the Gamma Fleet CO and XO. There are no exceptions.
Simulation Report
Each Gamma Fleet simulation is required to submit a monthly report to the Gamma Fleet Command Officers, due on the tenth (10) day of every month, baring a holiday, and then it is due on the next day. A report must be one generated by the FSF AMS system with a sim summary added
Gamma Fleet Disciplinary Procedures
All hosts and staff members will be held to the same disciplinary standards as the other. Gamma Fleet hosts may also adopt this disciplinary procedure for their respective sim.
First – Upon the first case of unsatisfactory work or rule infraction a host may be given a written warning from the Commanding Officer of this fleet that will be permanently stored in the host’s record.
Second – Upon the second case of unsatisfactory work or rule infraction, within 90 days of the first, a host may be given a written warning from the Commanding Officer of this fleet that will be permanently stored in the host’s record.
Third – Upon the third case of unsatisfactory work or rule infraction, within 90 days of the previous one, a host may be given a written warning from the Commanding Officer of this fleet that will be permanently stored in the host’s record. If the host in question is the Fleet Second Officer, he or she is removed from said post upon receiving their third warning.
Fourth – Upon the fourth case of unsatisfactory work or rule infraction, within 90 days of the previous one, a host may be given a written warning from the Commanding Officer of this fleet that will be permanently stored in the host’s record. This host is officially considered on probation and may be asked to submit weekly status reports. If the host in question holds any office in Gamma Fleet, he or she is removed from said office upon receiving their fourth warning.
Fifth – Upon the fifth case of unsatisfactory work or rule infraction, within 90 days of the previous one, a host is automatically removed from hosting status in Gamma Fleet.
Any rule infraction or case of unsatisfactory work after 90 days of the previous one will be treated as a first time offense.
