Delta Fleet Write Off!
Welcome to the First of a new series of Community based Challenges for the members of Delta Fleet, The Write Off!.
Starting on the first of March a randomly selected image from any sci-fi or fantasy genre will be posted to the Delta Fleet website for the members to review. Each image will have a caption and be on the site for a total of 3 weeks. During this time members are encouraged to spin up a piece of Fan fiction that fits the image, It can be in any style you like.
After the third week the image will be taken down and three judges, FSF Josh and FSF O'Neil along with a guest judge will review the entries and choose a winner. Once a winner is chosen they will bask in the glory of their success for a 4 week period!
So, what's it worth? Simple, The wining person, or persons if it's a team, will each receive 50 My Points and earn points for their Sim towards Delta Fleets all new Sim of the Season! In addition the Winning entry will be displayed on a Delta Fleet Topic for all members of the FSF to Read!
And now for the details!
- Entries can be done by groups of up to 3 members or be done individually.
- All Entries must be between 1000 and 1200 words, with an additional 200 words for each additional member. (1 member = 1200, 2 members = 1400, 3 members = 1600)
- Spelling and grammar will be considered, but this isn't high school so don't worry too much.
- Entries must be received no later than the contest deadline, which will be handed out with each image.
- Entries must be ON TOPIC. They do not have to fit the images known series, a Stargate Sim could be worked around a trek image, but they MUST relate to what's seen in the picture.
- All Entries must have the name of the author(s) and their Delta Fleet sim info.
In the interest of Community no person can win more than twice in one year, being 6 images. Last but not least, ALL ENTRIES are restricted to a PG 13 LEVEL, anything that is too adult will not be considered.
