You might notice that we’ve changed the site around a bit. Fact is, we have! We hope everyone likes the new look. There will be some information real soon that will explain why we changed things around as we did as well as how we hope it will be beneficial to the sims in the fleet.
Be sure to follow Delta Fleet on Twitter and Facebook, too! We’ll be posting updates through those mediums regarding both the fleet and the sims within.
Exciting news comes from Delta Fleet for the first of December. Delta Fleet has recently had a command staff change. FSF Esrom has been promoted to the position as XO of the fleet. This comes after FSF ONeil was removed from the position. We look forward to seeing what Esrom adds to Delta Fleet.
Along with the addition of Esrom, Delta Fleet welcomes the USS Independence sim, hosted by FSF BK and FSF Esrom. The sim comes in response to the requirement for all fleet command staff to host a game in their fleet.
Please take the time to welcome both BK and Esrom! And feel free to visit their sim on Sunday evenings!
After two dedicated and very worthwhile years in Delta Fleet, Starbase Genesis, belatedly known as, USS Slayer, will be transferring to the Gamma Fleet effective June 1st, 2007. This transfer has been long awaited for the Command Staff and Crew of Starbase Genesis. Everyone involved couldn’t be happier as this move will only strengthen and help Starbase Genesis grow better as a member based family and as a great game in whole. Join them, every Saturday at 10PM Eastern. Visit their upcoming events scheduled on their site, left side of page, for room link and time listing.
I’ve been busy these past few weeks, but have noticed that Delta Fleet and Starbase Genesis both received an award! Delta Fleet received the Fleet Activity Award, and Starbase Genesis received the Community Award. Good job!
Let’s see about keeping these awards in Delta Fleet! Continue to post to your sim lounges.

Wow! Delta Fleet got its mentionings again! Two more references to Delta Fleet this month.
First, Delta Fleet as a whole won the Fleet Activity award! You guys sure do like to post in your sim lounges. Keep it up! You don’t have to just post to your sim lounges but to other sim lounges or to the main Delta discussion forums, too.
Lastly, the USS Crazy Horse won the Game Summary award recognition. Congratulations!

FSF Spectre, a known host in the FSF, has joined Delta Fleet as GM2 of Stargate Command. He comes with experience in the Stargate field as well as simming experience. Spectre was also in Fleet Command.

WELCOME TO DELTA FLEET!
This weekend, the FSF saw the 6th Annual FSF Shuni Awards, recognizing sims, hosts, and players from across the group. Several names were brought up that those in Delta Fleet might recognize.
The first Delta win of the night was in the Most Innovative Plot category. FSF Spectre presented this award. And… it was won by the USS Slayer for its “Ionic Destruction” plot. Congratulations to the USS Slayer and its hosts, FSF Avalon and FSF Hawke (our newest host in Delta Fleet, by the way ).
The next award won within Delta was a silly category: Best Wardrobe Malfunction. No surprise here, Kitty Pryde of the USS Stargazer won this award. For those that have visited that game, they quickly realize that her clothing doesn’t stay on her for very long.
A Delta Fleet simmer received two awards, as well. Congratulations to Trekkie Lizard and her two award wins: Most Unusual Romance (Silly), and The Stolen ZPM (Silly).
Lastly, Delta Fleet saw one of its game with the final and most outstanding award of the night: Sim of the Year. Yes, that award went to Stargate Command, hosted by FSF Cuce and FSF Duke. Stargate Command has helped the FSF to reach into the Stargate genre and has been a successful game. Its complex structure theoretically can allow for a huge game. We hope to see more great things from SGC.
